Directions
Sudoku
is a puzzle with a grid containing nine
large blocks.
Each block is divided into its own
matrix of nine cells. The rules for
solving Sudoku puzzles are very simple:
each row, column and block must contain
one of the numbers from "1" to
"9". No number may appear more
than once in any row, column, or block.
When you’ve filled the entire grid,
the puzzle is solved.
How To Play
Start a new game. Move your cursor
over the "New Puzzle" button
to select a skill level. Fill in blanks
with the Pen (select a cell, then click
on the number you want to enter). If
you’re not 100% sure of a number, you
can make a note of it in the cell using
the Pencil. Put in as many possibilities
as you like.
Get help solving a puzzle. Use one of
the techniques in the "Solve"
menu. The "Clue" can be
particularly helpful!
Learn about menu options. Select from
the “Help” menu for details on each
menu option as well as additional
techniques.
Considerable care has been taken to make
sure the puzzles generated on this site
are all solvable by pure logic, even the
tough ones. No guessing required!
